Facial harmony is an underrated component of attractiveness and understudied field. Even plastic surgeons do not fully understand the concept of facial harmony let alone how to improve it. This is why most plastic surgeries fail to improve the overall attractiveness of the face and can even end up reducing it despite producing ideal results in terms of achieving the surgical objective. Here's are the components of harmony, there are way more factors which simply haven't been studied that I am unaware of but will make a huge difference in attractiveness.
1. Size and position of features, matching size no feature is oversized or undersized relative to the face and the ideal measurement based on population average. The first part is more important as relative size is more noticeable than absolute size. But there can be people with oversized and undersized everything who will still look weird but likely won't be ugly just because of it. Features that fit the golden ratio position and size are more ideal, but a face can significantly deviate from it and still be attractive.
2. Hair Texture and coloring
The hair texture and coloring of hair, facial hair and eyebrows must complement other features of the face along with bone structure. There must be some contrast between lip, hair, eye and skin coloring to produce ideal results. Darker color lips are preferred, lighter eyes are preferred, especially with darker skin. The exact contrast amount of contrast necessary is unknown and can be dependent upon the person.
3. Facial features and bone structure fit
Facial features must appear to fit the width and length of the face , a face which is too wide or narrow is unappealing. width from fat is treated differently from
4. Forehead/skull size and shape fit with facial structure
Forhead width and length must fit in with facial structure, the same applies to chin width and length but this is a minute factor.
5. Masculinity and feminity fit
Neither overly masculine nor overly feminine features are preferred, some contrast and a high degree of averageness in dimorphism . Too much contrast will create a weird looking face.
6. Skin tones and undertones must fit
light skin with lighter undertones or dark skin with darker undertones, contrasting overtone and undertone looks weird and unattractive.
7. Magic factors
This refers to the unknown, that our eyes pick up on instantly likely related to information about a person's social status, mental state, hormonal levels, pheremone levels, strength of immune system, trustworthiness, competence, level of strength and intelligence etc. A higher degree of averagness and plainness in features is preferred with one or two above average features and high levels of harmony which make the face easy on the eyes . This is what real chads look like, most PSL chads aren't as attractive to women IRL and won't have as much success.
TLDR To be able to create surgeries which can bring anyone up to average or attractive, standardized models of average and attractive faces incorporating all these factors must be created. These models must look natural, be achieveable for all faces with current technology while at the same time possessing enough variety that incorporates all the different human phenotypes, and must be found to look average or attractive by the vast majority of people. Numerous blackpilled studies on opposite sex preferences would need to be included in understanding how to create a natural result and a genuine upgrade to phenotype and improvement in niche.
The current system of plastic surgery is too narrowly focused and fails to incorporate many of the specialists needed such as dermatologists, hair specialists, aestheticians, maxillofacial surgeones, reconstructive surgeons etc. and collaboration between them in producing ideal results. The reason it fails to significantly improve attractiveness is because It's narrowly focused on staving off aging or minute natural looking changes.
This is an insanely difficult and expensive endeavor and would require tens of billions of dollars in funding, but could be done with approximately the same amount of money from the government as was necessary to land people on the moon or create the atomic bomb.
