Here are some examples:

Major Perspectives on the Origin of Existence
  • Scientific/Naturalistic Models:
    • Big Bang Theory: Proposes the universe expanded from a high-density, high-temperature singularity.
    • Abiogenesis: The theory that life originated from non-living matter through natural processes.
    • Panspermia: Suggests life exists throughout the universe and was brought to Earth via comets or meteors.
    • Eternal Universe/Multiverse: Some perspectives argue that energy cannot be created or destroyed, suggesting the universe may not have had a single "start" or is part of a larger, ongoing system.
  • Religious/Creationist Perspectives:
    • Young Earth Creationism (YEC): Literal interpretation of Genesis, holding that the Earth and universe were created by God in six days roughly 6,000–10,000 years ago.
    • Old Earth Creationism (OEC): Believes in a divine creator but accepts scientific evidence for an ancient universe.
    • Intelligent Design: Argues that certain features of the universe and living things are best explained by an intelligent cause, rather than undirected processes.
  • Synthesized/Philosophical Views:
    • Theistic Evolution: Holds that religious teachings and scientific theories (like evolution) are compatible, with God acting through natural processes.
    • Creation Science: An attempt by some religious groups to find scientific evidence for creationist claims.
    • Spontaneous Generation (Historical): An outdated theory that life arose from decaying organic matter.
  • Alternative/Metaphysical Views:
    • Simulation Theory: The philosophical idea that reality is an artificial simulation.
    • Anti-realism/Idealism: Challenges the idea of an objective, material reality existing independent of perception

Earth born, Dinosaur die, Humans born.

cope discussion but since what we see ourselves is just our perception, and different animals see and perceive things differently (frequencies, hearing, eyesight etc.) I think we live in a world that is created by an intelligent designer. I don't think that' purely up to chance

The main problem of the origin of the universe is not only a physical problem but a mathematical and logical one. The unmoved mover like Aristotle wrote. The infinite regress is unsolvable with every existing framework of reality that we currently have. Even such models like the multiverse idea don't solve the infinite regress, in fact it only expands on it.

Newton basically gave up to solving it and just said there must have been always something - in his case that was the abrahamic god.

I personally have no idea.

there is no way to prove this anyway. It's all theoretical and speculative in nature

We probably aren't supposed to fully understand it anyway. All we can do is rely on the evidence we have

Creationist. The correct one.

Boltzmann brain theory .

According to law of thermodynamics,

1) Energy can neither be created nor destroyed .

2) In space , energy will go random .

Boltzmann theory states that , in space , anything is possible. So a brain was randomly formed and this one brain is hallucinating the whole universe. And we are all imaginary.

I believe in a smart creator

Creationist (intelligent design)

I've got Truman syndrome.

If I had to choose the answer I agree with the most, it would be this one : Eternal Universe/Multiverse: Some perspectives argue that energy cannot be created or destroyed, suggesting the universe may not have had a single "start" or is part of a larger, ongoing system.

I don't really care about how the universe began, in all honesty. Never have.

I think the origin is something we just dont seem to understand yet

The infinite regress
Best source of existential terror when you really appreciate it in my opinion.

Quite possible. Even a good number of scientists are struggling to really understand most theories and models we have today. It's entirely possible that to some theoretical superintelligences a thousand times and more smarter than us, it's all trivially obvious and understandable and our weak attempts to do so are amusing.

More Logical to believe there a creator + gives you hope

The universe clearly always existed on some level; that's the most logical answer. How an incel could be a creationist is beyond me. Why would a God who created you, knowing you'll suffer being subjected to inceldom, be worthy of your worship? The Problem of Evil is still unresolved and will never be. If there is a creator God, then it is either wholly indifferent to us or fundamentally evil like a demiurge.
