I'm reading Mussolini's War by John Gooch and every page is practically a story of how Mussolini and the top level fascists made mistake after mistake. The planners who said his aims were futile were ignored.
Given two failed invasions of Greece/Balkans and North Africa he then went on to war with the USSR.
I started reading the book to find ways to improve my life by learning from others mistakes but I've learnt nothing yet except that living outside of cold reality brings terrible problems. The facts have to be faced like with the
.Italy did make clear in the Pact of Steel that their military wouldn't be ready for another 5 years but Germany went to war regardless, according to the author.

The thing about the German invasion of the Soviet Union is because the Soviet Union was actually prepared to invade Germany and all of wartorn Western Europe. Germany invaded the Soviet Union as a preemptive strike that caught them off guard.
Also, the Soviet Union was shit. All it had was a ridiculously large population and ridiculous land mass, and even then it needed funding from the USA to keep from getting butt raped like the rest of the cucked countries.

This is true. While there obviously was the notion of racial purity in the National Socialist party and a clear hierarchy with the blonde-haired, blue-eyed White German at the top, there's this false notion that Hitler wanted to eradicate all other races (except for just the one, maybe). Anyone with a pair of functioning brain cells can rub them together and see that this isn't true and it wouldn't work for NatSoc Germany in the long-term as an empire. He wanted to maintain racial purity and not mix races, like what's being promoted in today's world.
Racial impurity has the subversive effect of destroying the root of a person's identity and subsequently affecting every other aspect of their life, from culture, to religion and societal beliefs. Mixing races, thus, makes it easier to control entire peoples in the aggregate, as anything without a foundation eventually crumbles. People with strong racial, ethnic and cultural ties are very hard to control from the outside - their foundation is very strong. You need generations of constant influence and/or propaganda to weaken the beliefs and resolves of each successive generation until the nth generation is so disconnected from their recent ancestral identity that they begin to adopt the culture of the times and take on a new identity. Note that there always be a lost generation that fails to fully identify with either the cultural, ethnic and national heritage of their parents and grandparents, or with the country they're currently in. They end up being in a kind of limbo.
Such a thing has happened already (and is happening today still) with countless immigrant families, especially from war-torn or politically polarized countries. Their families migrate to Europe or America in the hopes of escaping the shithole that their country has become and giving their children a better chance for a future. They and their children are first generation immigrants, and often times additional children are born in the host country for reasons of naturalization and obviously as a natural consequence of family expansion. Their children are enrolled in their host country's schools and they learn the language. They also learn the culture and slowly become indoctrinated to their way of life. They may speak their mother tongue less and less, their younger siblings born in the host country may not speak their mother tongue at all, and they may or may not lose their conviction in whatever religion they had, if it's different the main religion of the host country.
Fast forward this several generations into the future and what you will have is a person who identifies wholly as something else, with children of their own (of mothers who are, in all likelihood, going to be from a difference race and background), who don't even know who their great-great grandparents were, completely disconnected from the country of their origins. All it takes is roughly just over a century, at the minimum. By the 2150s, whatever mix-race mutts Germany will be full of will have zero idea of who their ancestors (the ones with Germanic roots anyway) were and what they stood for, save for whatever sanitized history lessons that got uploaded into their neural chips as young kids.
