So tired of this retard argument. The unfortunate reality is capitalism doesnt benefit everyone. But socialism and free government handouts benefit even fewer. For the young and/or slow people that dont understand politics and how power corrupts, the short explanation is that if you give the government enough power and accept enough handouts(i.e. socialism) you get crumbs and the powers that be(the politicians, the elites and 1% that everyone claims to hate so much, ironically they're all the same group...) get more and more power and money, etc. So its less about capitalism benefiting everyone and more about the state oppressing everyone under socialism. Actually, most people can't get SSDI out of school. In order to get SSDI, you'd have to have worked for a substantial amount of time (though there are some weird cases where an 18 year old can qualify for one of his parent's SSDI.)

Most who haven't worked have to get the cheaper SSI, if they're lucky.
