uncharted 4, god of war 2018, life is strange, far cry, assassin’s creed, heavy rain, the batman arkham games and rdr2 are very overrated.
Uncharted 4 and god of war 2018 are basically glorified movies. Although uncharted 4 is much worse than god of war 2018, in god of war 2018 you actually get to kill people instead of just watching cutscenes…
Life is strange and heavy rain suck because the choices barely matter except for a few. It’s just you basically watching a movie. Detroit become human is an example of a good choice driven game since the choices actually matter and determine the outcome of the story.
i played far cry 3 and it was extremely meh but from the way everybody was talking about it you would think you’re playing the best written single player shooter of all time. But everything about it was mediocre.
assassins creed is boring as shit, you just follow people for half the game and combat revolves around you pressing one button.
The batman games suck for the same reason. The combat is basically you pressing one button and dodging, they put very little thought into the combat of the game.
Rdr2 is just a horse simulator. You spend 90% of the game going from point a to point b in your horse. In most missions you don’t even get to shoot anyone, it’s just dialogue while you ride your horse. And the worst offense is that riding your horse sucks… It’s stamina runs out too quickly, it’s clunky to ride and it ain’t particularly fast either. The witcher 3 is an example of good horse riding. But rdr2 made the experience unbearable for muh realism. If making the game realistic means that the player is not having fun, then DONT DO IT.

Nothing wrong with platformers, their one of my favourite genres, but with Mario, it's literally the same shit over and over again.
Just look at the new Mario bros series and wonder.

the issue with mario is that it has a promising potential if they stopped milking the same tedious 2D formula, when they pour creativity and innovation we get masterpieces like mario odyssey, galaxy, sunshine…etc

Everyone who hates on GTA, RDR and Minecraft here most likely has terrible taste in games. Dilate harder and go and enjoy all your turn-based tactical strategy games, deck-building games, roguelikes, soulslikes, construction and management games, esports titles, gachas, bullet hell and rhythm games with all your troon friends.
