I ask because no way its the roided of super lean physique that is seen in every form of movie, magazine, commercials. That shit simply isn't healthy. My brother is currently leaning down because he wants that physique. He says hes hungry all the time, losing hair, and always tired. I think hes been brainwashed to think he can naturally achieve a body builder look.

In my opinion the healthy physique is one that is a balance of fat and muscle. Something like this.

These fuckers jump through so many hoops to get to this point. "Just eat pure soy bro, just do 10 hours of cardio a day bro, just chug egg yolks bro, just eat oatmeal for every meal bro". They also have tons of health problems cause of their diets. I know which one is healthy and natural.
 
It depends on what is your end goal, like if you want to achieve a lean physique, then of course lower is better, but if you want to just build muscle and not care about looks, then whatever you are comfortable with

If you're tall (185cm), don't even bother building muscle, just a massive waste of time. Tall skinny stick figure most foids find highly attractive already.

If you're short then you need to build at least some muscle. I think the muscle you build by just doing body weight exercise (calisthenics) gives you a good overall balanced physique. No need to waste money for a gym membership at all imo. Examples:

Ideal? in the eyes of teenage foids it's the skinny ripped build (see: travis scott physique), but ofc the older they get the more muscular they're generally into. if you're talking ideal in terms of health, i'd say that asian fits the bill, but that much muscle would be quite unsustainable if there was some kind of food shortage. would also be heartbreaking to see all your muscle decay away 10x as fast you spent building it.

10-12% is the best and sustainable long term.

For optimal health i'd say 15% is best since a small amount of fat is good for you.
