I see this term thrown a lot and I still don't get what it means. It seems it's mostly another way to say men = bad because we don't like movies about muh gender equality, toxic masculinity or other feminist topics kek.
But from what I gathered the most accurate definition would be:
-Films that are very mainstream and popular
-Violent (usually crime setting)
-Have few foid characters
-Have masculine/redpilled themes like revenge, betrayal, redemption, getting rich, etc.
-They pretend to have a deep meaning but are really very basic and surface level
I've seen people call Pulp Fiction, The Godfather, Fight Club, Goodfellas, Wolf of Wall Street, The Clockwork Orange or Shawshank Redemption filmbro movies so it seems accurate.
