In elementary school, I played the trumpet and I was decent at it, despite rarely having any practice. In middle school, I had braces and I was always out of breath after playing only 3 lines, so in high school, I took a beginners music course and switched to the clarinet.

I used to let the flute in my house on purpose so I could always avoid playing that in class . I was able to pass the subject because I passed the theory tests.

school was too under funded, they didnt have any music courses and not instruments for us to play
we hadd an arrt class where we cut papers into small pieces and make animals with them with glue
