Puberty works with the brain and body in tandem to create a dimension for us that was previously unlocked: "sexual attraction". For me it was almost over night that I could actually feel sexually attracted to girls.

What if humans had a second one, that opened a dimension that we can't really fathom, much like kid's can't fathom sexual attraction. It would happen to people around 30 but imagining it is like imagining a new colour I guess.

If we use puberty as a reference point for what’s to come, I definitely don’t want that. My life only got worse after puberty.

In a sense but it's not unlocking a new dimension of what it's like to be human. Most people at 70 say they feel like they're still 30.
