According to what I read he had a court hearing February this year, however no news about the conclusion of his trial or anything has come out of the news from what I searched. Anyone keeping up with this stuff?

As somebody who's been in Canadian courts (as a student. Not a criminal), I can confirm that 90 percent of the time, your case will just be pushed back and back until they run out of time and you get set free. Everything moves soooooo slowly.
