That is the how things usually go when one religion takes over another's territory.
Similar to Jizya tax.

I can tell you working class men view religion and nationalism as the same.
Even if they don't practice Christianity in the slightest they would still see themselves as polar opposite to Muslims and would use Christian identity as a cornerstone of English heritage precisely because it excludes most of the brown people in England

I bet when all the old folks are dead and the shitskins are nolonger required to wipe old grannys bums in care homes and keep the economy from totaly collapsing, then when the time is right a"war" will be started with muslims as an excuse to burn down the whole country and cause mass starvation and stuff.
