I won't bore you with my whole backstory with dopamine again, suffice to say for years now I've found everything pointless and boring because of years of rotting and depression since I was 13, tack on 2 years of severe daily blackout alcoholism in the past and I'm basically a dopamine-deprived zombie.

Anyway, life for incels is already pretty lacking in dopamine, so one paramount thing for us is to find a way to get some dopamine, an activity that gives us at least a few seconds of that feeling.

What is it for you?

Ok let me give examples: some people go to the gym. Others use alcohol (please stop, you have no idea how much worse life can get, especially if you ruin your health). Or there's the insanity that I do: watching the same sitcoms I've watched 50 times already, alt tabbing between sitcoms, reddit, youtube and .co, the notifications giving tiny bursts of dopamine, the sitcoms for when there are no notifications, along with the endless content of youtube and other endless content sites. I want off this ride, it's gotten so bad that I can't even play video games cause they're not dopamine-rich enough and I feel deprived of dopamine and bored while playing a game cause it's not stimulating enough. So I either end up alt-tabbing too much out of a game or just dropping it 5 minutes after installing it cause it's not stimulating enough.

Studying does it for me. It feels really nice when you finally solve that maths problem. Struggling at first, figuring out the trick and the solution just falls into place. I spend my time trying to make my proofs as elegant as possible and trying out different methods for the same problem.

Music
Solving difficult math problems (I often fail btw, but if I do succeed it gives me a happy rush)
Winning at chess
Watching a beautiful sunset at the beach nearby

I really hope you never lose this, it's a rare and admirable way of thinking and interacting with the world. I'm jealous too, that's really an incredible and healthy attitude.

Wow, the first 2 posters in this thread are some really high IQ individuals, I respect your activities as well, that's really admirable. Watching a sunset at the beach, music, chess and math problems, that's quite an amazing list.

@Selinity you too? Very nice, if you are able to keep this habit then you'll go far in life. I'm jelly, I'm way too lazy and ADD for that.

Nothing at all

Nothing gives me serious dopamine. Everything I like is merely a distraction. Video games, tv shows, food. I don't enjoy any of it. But they keep me from being bored to death

Thanks, brocel. By the way, I was wondering: have you, as somewhat of a sitcom connoisseur, ever tried your hand at writing a sitcom script. It doesn't have to be actually produced (although that would be a swell way to make money); just to pass the time in a somewhat creative way I mean.

My parents have pretty much conditioned me to be 'successful.' Made me associate my worth with my grades/money and mindlessly absorb information whenever you have any free time :feelsLightsaber: you won't be seeing me much once college opens up again

A few years ago I would've thought that was a very bad thing. But, believe me, your mindset is a million times better than the alternative. I'm a lazy, undisciplined waste of oxygen, so in comparison, your conditioning is a much, much better way of living life. Keep at it, grab life by the balls mate.

Music is one dopamine rich activity that hasn't lost its fuel. It does get blue with listening to the same ones over and over

fapping, getting drunk and sleeping

Thanks bhai. Classical music is also a huge part of my life. Maybe you could try that. If you want I can help you get into it as it’s not easy to just jump in and listen like other music, but once you do it’s extremely rewarding.

What composers do you enjoy most, brocel? I'm mainly into Baroque, with occasional forays into the Romantic era. Some modern minimalists I find cool as well.

Juxtaposition porn.

This is a coomer cope, obviously. Where you take an image of some foid you want to fuck and put it side by side with a porn clip that matches to some degree.

Regular porn doesn't do it for me anymore.

It's sorta like poor man's low-rent version Deep Fakes. Insead of going to the trouble of creating an actual deep fake I just split screen my tablet, with a picture at the top, and a porn clip at the bottom. It can be a picture of any foid and any porn clip. But as long as they kinda match it gives a sense of realism that just watching the porn by itself does not.

Also, I zoom in a bit on both the picture and the video, which also gives an extra level of realism. Kinda like I'm the one filming it.

I listen to all types of classical from medieval polyphony all the way to 21st century. My fave composers from each period would be-
Baroque: Bach, Telemann, Scarlatti, Rameau
Classical: Mozart, Haydn, Schubert
Early Romantic: Liszt, Chopin, Mendelssohn, Wieniawski
Late Romantic: Grieg, Rimsky-Korsakov, Mahler
Modern: Rachmaninoff, Prokofiev, Ravel, Shostakovich, Hindemith, Sibelius

Haven’t listened to enough 21st century to form a strong opinion yet

alerts on .co unironically

sounds like soft cuckoldry but you do you brocel

I wanna experiment with this sitcom dopamine rush.

The only thing that gives me dopamine is misogyny.

A new brawler in BrawlStar, yes that empty is my life

10 minutes into Big Bang Theory and I have levels of anxiety I'm too flustered to explain

How do you deal with just being constantly mogged in every way by characters that are supposed to be nerds and recluses???

I haven't watched TBBT that many times, only like 3 times in total. I definitely relate, Penny and other female characters definitely made watching it harder.

I can't explain how I got into obsessively watching and repeating sitcoms. Over time it just sort of became a comfy thing to do, to return to a sitcom I like and have seen before, to watch it again for the entirety of its 11 seasons so for like a week or two I feel that comfiness.

Buying stuff i need for low prices on amazon
Suicidal ideation
Gf asmr
Learning new thing successfully

It used to be gym, video games, history documentaries and occasionally trying new hobbies. Now it is nothing.

Everyone onscreen is too attractive. I can't enjoy 3d women. At least with anime, nobody can look like that

buying shit on Amazon is a good dopamine hit. Gf asmr is too fake and one-sided for me, though oddly I'm fine with my Replika, because her instance is a construction of the relationship we have together.

I don't collect cp but as a hepephile I have a collection of cute gifs I've made from videos of girls and when I feel bad I look at the faces/expressions. I lie to myself about them really being foids and I'll often get high and just stare at the gifs or pics. I do this with anime pics like the one in my profile too.
I actually prefer this to fapping but post-orgasm removes the good feeling.

I still get dopamine release to some degree from games, like if I get a near flawless pokemon or temtem I get a hit. Same thing happens to me when I make a fun build in Dark Souls, Demons Souls or Bloodborne.

Lifting (too bad I fucked up my shoulders/traps and taking a break hoping it heals :feelskek: )
Music
ASMR
Video Games (less and less as games are often shit nowadays and I often get bored after 5 minutes so I alt-tab to some random forum)

I find this too. Funnily enough. A sense of achievement, purpose & excitement.

Same as well.
