I often think of the music video for "Do the Evolution" by Pearl Jam when I start going into deep thought about how utterly fucked the future will be and what kinds of horrors created by modern science is in store for us. The last minute or so of the music video is the most disturbing part imo bc of its depiction of the future, just horrifically bleak and hopeless. Humans are bred as nothing more than slave labor essentially, and the elites live in luxury as always.
