There seems to be a major disconnect between intent and practice when it comes to harassment laws.
In theory, the difference between harassment and romantic intensity is whether you treat them like a human being or simply an object for pleasure, that would imply a certain level of disrespect and dehumanization. In practice and from personal experience that's simply not the case, usually people who are attacked are people who express interest but are themselves highly vulnerable and sometimes desperate for human connection.
Normies always find a way to spin "good intentions" into something to attack AUTISTS and other socially vulnerable people. As soon as you display any sort of intensity, it doesn't even matter how much affection she gave you previously, you become public enemy number 1. They have managed to essentially write into law the idea that every romantic exchange between people is just a pointless "Situationship" that you have to (((move on))) from, but if you actually had the social comfort to express that you like the other person this wouldn't be such a fucking problem.
