As for Islam. Traditional Islam is sort of interesting, kinda of a neo-Judaism with an underlying neo-platonic veneer, most pronounced in Sufism. Modern Islam however is a different beast altogether, as it derives mostly from the Ashirite revolution and the likes of Al-Ghazali, with their emphasis on pure will which makes them very similar to modern Christian fundamentalists. Then there's crap like Wahhabism, which isn't even real Islam and something of a modern heresy and at the root of everything that is wrong with Islam in modern times.
