According to sharia to marry you must have the woman's consent, but muslims don't always follow the sharia.
They could be sold as slaves/concubines, in which case it is halal. But if they wish to marry she has to be a freed first.

Not true....A wife has the right to be financially maintained by her husband: food, clothing, home even if she’s rich.
