A FUCKED UP CONFIGURATION FILE had led to entirety of Cloudflares CDN (Content Delivery Network) to DDOS itself since the bad file spreaded across all their systems causing everything to crash.

it didn't affect just .is it had wider implications on many different sites using Cloudflare services, which is probably the majority of the sites you use.

Cloudflare's CDN just stores the contents of sites locally within cache than having to fetch across many different routers so webpages can load faster.

I kept getting host error and the cloudflare message, such a nuisance.

The internet has been centralized for quite a while now with big tech and cloud. Lots of centralized points of failure.

Hopefully web3 fixes all of this in the future.
