I’ve been listening to metal for a long time. Most of these are more mainstream normie metal but I still think they earned their place as the best metal albums.

1. Judas Priest Painkiller
This is what metal should be. If you don’t like this then you don’t like metal

2. Bathory Blood Fire Death
One of the first black metal bands and the first to make black metal sound epic. A Fine Day To Die is easily the best metal song ever.

3. Sodom Persecution Mania
The best speed metal album. So aggressive. Nuclear Winter is nuts.

4. Satan Court In The Act
Brian Ross is one of the best singers in metal.

5. Black Sabbath Heaven and Hell
RIP Dio. Another one of my favorite singers.
