What are your thoughts on Poetry?

I really don't get it.

I can sort of like Epic Poems because they make long History more Epic. But apart from that I really don't get it.

Honesty broken,

“Silence” I say to thou moans,
For they pester me, thy groans.
Why hath thou forgotten pride?
Against the woes, thou ought glide.
Forever pain, I attest,
Is the cure for pleasure’s jest.
Too cruel is a promised glee,
It torments us ‘til we plea.
Thus, I chant in earnest hope:
“No! No! Never rest to mope!”



Lost in wonder,
World-pain’s blunder;
Joy’s hastened pace,
Life’s sweetened taste.

Dreams foresaw
The truth nude:-
Nature’s law
Now made lewd.

I wish I had the speech and vocabulary to be a poet. I barely know how to write and talk in a way that makes sense. When I hear poetry it's like somebody is just doing a magic trick, there's always this fascination coming from me.

Your blatant lack of luck, the teen love you can't find
Or whatever the fuck is on your incel mind
For instance faggotry some clown had to confess
For me it's a nice way to say elegantly
The things I have to say about life and rat race
It looks good honestly, but no words for your face
You can use poetry, or just spam "theanty"
