Avatars (Avis) are arguably the most iconic thing about each and every user, they allow us to imbue our uniform, homogenous accounts with a piece of ourselves, convey our persona, or just present a goofy image that you and your brocels can laugh with together.

I must've seen hundreds, perhaps thousands of avis on this goddamn forum, but some of them shine far above the rest, they catch your eye every time you see them in the reply section of a thread.
