"Yup." I really hate this word.

"Do better."

"This is the way."

"You're on the wrong side of history." What an insanely arrogant phrase.

"Happy cake day!" on Reddit. Fuck off. Who even gives a shit when people joined Reddit??

"Play stupid games, win stupid prizes."

"Ding ding ding! We have a winner."

"Nothing ever happens." in response to any theory that isn't the official mainstream media narrative

"Let's unpack this/a lot to unpack". I think "unpack" started in academia, as in "Unpacking the myth of otherness in lesbian literatures and poetries"

"Claps back/she clapped back with…" *clapping hands emojis* I think this started with sheboons or gay/drag culture.

"Oof" and "oy vey"

so-and-so "is good people."

"I did a thing."

"I'm literally screaming right now" when they are just mildly annoyed by something

"Fuck around and find out."

"Lives in your head rent-free" is past its sell-by date now

"You must be fun at parties."

"Unironically" used in any way

"He was unalived" or "unalive myself". Just say dead or kill

"Problematic" Seems like a word that started in academia and is now grossly overused on the Internet

Every zoomer dumbass says "type shit" now (here in Burgerland). I have no idea what it means.

Everything is "toxic" or "traumatic". Used so fucking often that they don't really mean anything anymore.

Everyone declaring their self-diagnosed anxiety and depression. Everyone online has it now and wears it like a badge of honor. Completely trivializes it for us who actually do suffer from shit like that.

Narcissistic Abuse & Narcissists. Apparently they're literally everywhere now and everyone's parents are Narcissistic abusers.

Everything is "gaslighting". Can be a useful word for a specific kind of psychological manipulation. It just ends up being applied to *everything* until it loses its meaning. See also: 'problematic', 'triggering'.
