What are some fake historical events like the holocaust that people don't know are fake or people just don't about them?

I think the word "fake" is the wrong one to use. I do not believe the Holocaust was "fake." It happened. But I do believe it was exaggerated, certainly so. The question then is what do you mean by "fake"? Are you saying none of it happened, or are you saying the way it has been presented is not accurate? If it is the second, then I agree. Numbers, narratives, and details can all be debated. But if you mean "fake" in the sense of invented out of nothing, then I would want to know exactly what part of it you believe was invented, and why.
