Actually, I have heard more and more blackpilled ideas by my classmates in recent times, sure they still are bluepiller but one of them (high tier normie) said "you have to be tall to get a gf". Which was pretty based

They can hold at the same time have two contradictory statements in their head, like "looks don't matter for men, its all about your confidence" and "looks do matter." In a sense they are aware that looks matter but not the extent of how much they matter, unless they go in complete denial mode because the cognitive dissonance is too strong. They probably know that in their real life they see ugly people and they don't treat them as kindly as they treat attractive people, but they also don't want to believe they are shallow in any way so that thought has to be extinguished
