Are there any people that tried therapy and have been prescribed antidepressants?

What was your experience with them?

Therapy for 3 years - waste of time, gaslighting. Antidepressants - yes, they did help a bit. They stabilized me for a bit, till they made me miserable. I'd skip the therapy part.

Yeah I still take them because I was in a bad place when I started. Arrests and self harm you know.

Only Zoloft for a while. It gradually made me a zombie hyperfocused on things even more than I already am as an autist. I do not recommend unless you're really desperate for help.

I am on my third in a year which is Lexapro. I will continue to take them but the main problem is the hunger. I have to get a job soon so I feel like I have no other option.
