I was asleep until I recieved a call from the recruiters of marine at maybe 9 am, asking me how I am and what are my plans
I say go get degree in either electrical or mechanical (havent decided) engineering at university and they tell me alright cool and datamine me and then say, "can you come here at this time"
I say ok sure, I am too shy to say no or hang up
When I get there they weigh me, height me, and after give me a practice test called asvab or whatever
The thing is ridiculously easy, it is do you know these words, paragraph comprehension, arithmetic reasoning, then basic algebra (distribution or whatever solving), they grade it and I get high score and they say the real test is easier and you'd get even higher score
Then after they tell me about the marine and make me pick my problems that I have (the most being financial aid) and they say there is financial aid in marine, talk about jobs, or everything.. then ask me, "So, are you ready to join?"
I say, "Just wait, I will decide.."
I might join the reserve, but I don't want it to mess with my education too bad..
Also I'm going to have to get really fit because I'm really overweight right now..

Join the Air Force if you can.

Why, is that one better?
It is much better from what I hear.
But I shouldn't be giving anyone life advice to be honest. :feelshaha:
Do what you want, but don't let the Marines trick you to signing a contact before you know what you are getting into and your other options. :feelsYall:

Pick Army then, the marines are absolutely brutal with PT and you will regret it, Army is more relaxed with physical fitness, plus they have better equipment, better jobs etc.

just die for Moloch theory

In the end, I didn't pick anything.
I heard stories from other and there's not really even time to get education, which is the only reason I wanted to go, cause I wanted uni paid off

only good thing about joining the military is that you will get praised by normtards even if you see no combat. If you ever become homeless, you can leverage your veteran status

On the bright side you'll become fit asf and probably score middle aged women at the gym fairly easily (esp. if you bring up military xp.) Only disadvantage is you'll be a brokie compared to high 5 - low 6 figures you'd be making in EE starting out

Every cirno fan I've known is obese:feelsjuice:

Dont join the military you will literally become government property (not even kidding about that). Sadly our government doesn't give a single fuck if you served in the military and would rather have you die from the health issues you got from being apart of it or committing suicide.
If you truly think you're high IQ enough to get a high security clearance and end up working for the CIA or in the pentagon or can become a 4 star general or some crazy shit then go ahead and join but it's like 0.05% chance it will happen

Join the space force instead. No gravity makes carrying a heavy backpack full of weapons easier.
