Not quite true. Men are motivated when they are guaranteed a wife. The blackpill side of the manosphere have twisted it. Probably fueled by men's self-hatred or the inner-simp of a man to excuse the gross entitlement of foids.

A lot of men will delude themselves into believing a foid will return their affections even if they know it's not guaranteed deep down inside. They're just that desperate.
