The only thing you really pick up in history, at least as far as I'm concerned, is that whites are superior, and being non-white sucks. Every black person I know actually hates movies like '12 Years A Slave' and 'Roots,' despite them being critically claimed and whatnot. It just brings up bad memories, and they see them as cringey useless 'white guilt' vehicles so liberal whites who produce them can pat themselves on the back for being woke.
