It’ll take at least ten to fifteen years of development for this to be fully implemented in a functioning AAA game for the average Joe to consume but again, this’ll not pan out in a conventional format. People who don’t play videogames regularly might look at this and think it’s the future but in actuality, it’s far from it. If it does get properly done however, then the uncanny valley will be monumental.

The future of gaming looks so shit, honestly. The more these devs put emphasis on graphics and hyper-realism, the more oversaturated the market will be with reskins of one another and thus, the games will continue to suffer from a gameplay perspective. Just let videogames remain videogames. Push it forward only as long as it yields a better opportunity for deeper gameplay and a more impactful medium of storytelling, not fancier graphics just to make it more appealing to the mass.
