I think he was partially coping with the fabulous looking comments because he couldn't fully understand why he didn't attract women. I can relate to this because there were times when my inner ego almost made me feel like I was decent, even good, looking. I'm not sure how blackpilled he was at the time of the DOR but clearly he could sense it even if he couldn't accept it head on. He at least put a face to those who have been rejected and cast away by society. Imo incel shouldn't necessarily mean you can't get laid because of looks alone but encompass many reasons including those individuals who are not NT.
