I'll just explain.
It's not spoken of in a lot of "positivity, be happy, happy clappy go lucky" bullshit modern/ normalistic psychiatrists say.
But what the real reason is for us having petty power seeking emotions is is because we're defaultly narcissistic and entitled.
We just create philosophies/ ideologies to conceal it. So that what we're doing is contextified in a non-negative way.
Such as religion, christianity, etc. these are all viable ways of doing it.
Bolsheviks did it when creating soviety russia. As if they were against the czar for their monarchy.
Communism is just monarchy with a veneer of buzzwords/ buzzphrases.
Each according to their ability to each according to their need.
But when the people on top are the ones in contorl for hte sake of defeating the grand demon of "capitalism", or of human selfishness... then they are the ones who are the good guys no matter what. And anyone who speaks out is a "servant of darkness".

Virtue is only given as a result of people not being egotistical.
Humanity is vain and narcissitic. We biologically produced it so we can compete. Some species no matter if high E, or High T will have a genetical straegy to find cominance. No system with trillions of cells will allow itself ot be destroyed without putting up a fight for domination, or at least being aware of what it needs to do to acquire their own survival.
People say you don't have to be a shark to succeed. But what if you run into another shark? then you're dead. Or you run away.
We as a species need pain averison or devices of domination. And we will need a device for domination within ourselves. Generally this is the natural flow of the human race. Finding a way to be dominant.
And when we're in a bad position... insecurity, self doubt, self hate are used to contrast ourselves and waht we are to what is proper. Our ego/ super ego will override our id and we will get moving. The insecurity is the war-call of the super ego against your flawed existence.
Insecurity is good. And it's accountability of self. Emotional accountability.
Insecurity will make all assurances necessary.
And if you're good looking, but full of self doubt then people will look at the element of your primal value OVER the context of your mind/ what emotions it has.
But only if you're 8+. If you're 6/7 you'll need to dodge a few loops and holes with NT signalling.
Confidence is okay, but people think it in of itself can attract girls as an attitude.
When in reality that is just a manipulation mechanism (false intangibility interpolating) that tries to attack the one thing that people who are ugly (who pose the question of... what works best for women? and they say confidence JFL) wonder about what works for... and they attack the harsh awareness by saying that "IF YOU'RE ALWAYS POSITIVE, PEOPLE WILL LIKE THAT ENERGY".
That will just destroy your self awareness.
Tell a girl that confidence wouldn't get an 80 year old laid, and they'll say you're using extreme examples.
Then you tell them, well, you're hte one who says confidencei s universal, and I just disproved it. THere are more elements.
And I'll also say "why is the pattern feeling more likely of getting pussy when you're of the young, handsome, etc." I've already proven that confidence doesn't work, but when age is a negative factor, then that shows that superficial/ uncontrollable/ nonphysical traits matter.
Then the fairy braider/ whimsy-wormer will say "oh they don't care about age because of the looks/ energy... but they just want someone with common interests..." LMFAO.
They're what I call whimsy-wormers. They always try to worm in a positive narrative over the definitive negatives.
Confidence working is a false projection of a fallacious stereotype where women fall in love with immaterial elements as if it were a disney movie/ fairy tale.
We're programmed to slay and be pretty.
