Watching all of pokemon?

Has anyone tried to watch all of pokemon before. Was it worth it? I tried doing it. indigo was ok, orange islands a little worse. gave up at johto. The filler was ridiculous. Over for low perseverancecels

Even when I was 11 I realized how repetitive the Pokemon anime was, even if I loved the games. Most episodes can be summed up in:
-Ash and friends find a new Pokemon with a trainer who has a problem
-Ash and friends help said trainer
-Team Rocket steals Pikachu and the new Pokemon
-Ash and friends with the help of the trainer defeat Team Rocket
-They all say goodbye and leave

Why would you torture yourself with over 1000 episodes of nothing happening?

Even One Piece has more story in a longer period of time

I'm doing that rn. I'm up to Black and White. They have less filler as you go up in seasons. In Johto it took like 20 eps to get to the first gym, in B/W it was like 2 eps and something happens most eps. I also like the simplicity of the show. It helps if you're playing the game at the same time.

I watched pokemon black and white a few times but that's really it.

Do that if you wanna be bored to tears. Even at 12 I could see it had turned to formulaic shit after johto. Indigo is the only good season because the writer was batshit crazy. I gave up after Master's Quest when the show entered re run hell on cable.
