Its called Tokyo Idols, it follows a bunch of 40 years old japanese men who follow a 17 years old girl who wants to be an idol. Most of those guys when interviewed said that they don't have any girlfriend nor they think they could get one so they use these girls as some sort of surrogate girlfriends and that they would be depressed if it weren't for them.
The funny thing is when you read normalfag's commentaries about the docu and say how horrifying is to have a whole culture built on making lonely men feel better.

Interesting maybe I'll watch it

i've never really understood idol culture, but i hope it continues in Japan just cause it pisses off westerners

I pretty much think the same, I find it weird as fuck, but its nice how it makes western normalfags angry

Does it? Burgers and eurofags worship pop stars the same age, though it's always wrapped in #wokeaf #girlsquad #badbitchezzzz cope.

I don't follow any females the way these guys follow idols but I get it. I truly do.
I think if I lived in Japan or ever visited I'd go to those dating cafes. Hell, I'd probably even try and join the Yakuza. If you are a good boy they fly you over to the lesser Asian countries to get your dick sucked by prime girls.

Normies would prefer if we suffered with no copes and then died quietly in a hole, fuck them, fuck them hard.

Sounds interesting. I watched a doc. about otaku culture.

Normies hate Idols because Idols are meant to be virginal cute girls, not "Liberated" turbosluts

i've never really understood idol culture
cute girls singing
and they normally can't have boyfriends so it fuels a lot of their (otakus) delusions (although these girls probably fuck their managers all the time lmao)
here in the west you don't even have that facade of "purity" and "cuteness", because all singers try to be hot instead of cute and whoremaxx

normalfags lack of awareness is truly astounding.

Lol at that men-hating world.

I just watched this today during a free demo of the Hollywood Suite channel, it runs again tomorrow morning. Pretty decent documentary.

Could've sworn I saw it advertised before but I don't remember watching it in full, maybe I caught a few minutes last year but ran out of time?

It makes me wonder if I had the possibility of idol culture here in Americas if I would participate and carry the glowsticks.

It looks like fun. Embarassing and humiliating too, but fun.

Like a mix of horror and admiration I have for these guys. There's something pure about how honest they are.

Yes there is of course dishonesty and sublimation in it too but it is still more honest than most normies.

What I think would hold me back is I don't easily 'favor' any particular girl or anime. Long gone are the days where I could oneitis for Hinata or something.

Maybe some of them are fans of multiple girls? Also it seems as girls 'graduate' from idol>professional maybe fans move on to support newer younger idols starting out and stick with the ones who give good impressions?

There's something very democratic about that, how you buy CDs/tickets for ones you want to support as a donor of the arts.

As there are many commonalities I guess you seek subtle differences and maybe become more observant? Or maybe not and it's just more imagination for coping to continue to experience the oneitis.
