Nah it's a gem, trust; although it has questionable shit but the author is/was an incel himself. The story portrays loneliness and awkwardness pretty good, with a little too much yuri perhaps.

I find the dynamics between the mcs very interesting and relatable tbh.
Japs can't write good stories or characters
I never watched weeb stuff for story or characters, I only ever watched it for power fantasy, shows of power and skill, flashy action.
I like manga and anime for their artwork, fan service, character designs and music, but that's all.
If I wanted to watch something with character and plot, I'd go watch something else
I don't like fan service, I tend to look away. Music is good sure. Something with character and plot, hm, I would read the scriptures, or I don't really care about it overall.

Tbh I never cared for yuri, this was my first interaction with it and I liked it. Yes, it becomes boring as you read through 100 episodes and suddenly you go 'did I read all of this? What even happened I don't remember' but personally I liked it.
I just like it nigga I didn't say it's the greatest piece of fiction, this is a tier list ffs
