Venting Was Unable to Talk to my Dad this Weekend Because When You're Ugly, No One Listens

I cannot talk to my dad anymore, he's just distracted. It's Fathers Day so I thought he'd want to talk to me. I asked him if he saw a recent thing on the news, while he was answering my question, he noticed something on the TV "OMG HE SCORRRRRRRRRRRRES" and then forgot what I even had to say. I went to turn off the TV so it wasn't distracting but he got mad

Then during dinner he kept getting distracted by someone walking by on our street. I tried to resume the conversation but then he cut me off again to point out that a person he was walking down the street because "He has a soccer ball look soccerrrr ball!"

Then we resume the conversation, but before I can even finish the sentence, my mom interrupts "DO YOU LIKE THE FOOOOOOD?" and he turns to her to say he does.

Then we go back to talking and within 8 seconds he interrupts to say "The food is REALLLY good! How did you make this?" to my mom.

I gave up. We had a full dinner without a single back-forth exchange because he cannot listen or avoid interruption for even 10 seconds.
