I recently read an article that talked about small towns in America where the majority of the working population was men working in nearby foundries or mines. It mentioned that few there had wives and the only form of recreation in these towns was going to the local bar and drinking alcohol. Millions of men may have died without even seeing a young female let alone dating them back in those times, only working unhealthy jobs. There was no fap material at the touch of a button. No where to vent their frustration and despair. Only thing they could do was get drunk and hope the person next to them in the bar could talk about it and not smash their head in with a bottle.
For the average guy scoring a wife back then was no doubt far easier then in this sickened social media society but for those men who missed their chance it mustve been beyond depressing. In those times once you were passed your early 20s there were no more single women to meet because either your town had non or they were already married and had children. Thoughts?

Prostitution was more common and cheaper back in the day. Stefan Zweig talks about this in his autobiography (The World of Yesterday), how in the early 1900s you could find a street whore at just about every corner in Vienna, even in the more respectable neighborhoods. Pretty sure small towns had their neighborhood whores as well. Also, while not exactly condoned by polite society, it was implicitly understood to be a "necessary evil" and therefore largely tolerated. Ironically, the real moralfagging around prostitution only took off with the rise of 2nd and 3rd wave feminism.

It doesn't matter what you want; it only matters what you can get. And a whore is better than nothing, for most men at least. The moralfagging I referred to is done mainly by foids though, about how prostitution is such a raw deal for wamenz and how men who use prostitutes are all rapists and abusers etc. etc.

Yes, since there were less copes avaliable

prostitutes are dirty. Paying a hooker is simp shit

Absolutely. There were literally zero copes in year 1850 or 1500

Id still choose current year to live. Just gotta hold Out For The beta revolution

Banning prostitution is controlling male sexuality. Is that still fair given it's been 50 years past the Sexual Revolution, hypergamy, Tinder...?

They had easily accessible prostitutes. Even if they didn’t they at least could cope with each other since they were all in the same shit position. We don’t have that. We go outside and see cute girls everywhere with their boyfriends, sex is everywhere, and we also get mocked for not getting any.

Back in my dad's day towns were like fishbowls so it was much easier for people to just settle with their looksmatch. I remember a guy who was in his 70s telling me that when men used to approach women a lot of the time women were honored to be approached by a man with a good job.

I'm sure hypergamy still existed and varied based on factors such as location but it you probably had to be a truecel in those days to be a full blown incel.
