It's awful.
Most depressed periods I experienced were due to circumstances that would either pass or can be fixed or both. It's so brutal and final I have to keep reminding myself that. I still subconsciously get the feeling that it will end some day.

It was freeing, but also extremely depressing for a bit. After all, my main life goal of having a family of my own had just collapsed before me.
The self improvement was definitely not a waste of time, everything in my life improved because of it (except for my non existent dating life).


It pisses me off to no end that there are thousands of women out there that would definitely be able to have a vibrant fulfilling life with many of us, but instead will end up becoming single mothers to chads and tyrones whom they never had a chance to begin with.
