Was Bundesliga better in the 90s and 00s?

I remember watching a lot of Bundesliga back in the day. It was my way of coping because I had nobody to play football with so I watched tons of it at home on TV and followed it religiously.

I stopped watching the Bundesliga circa 2014 because of how boring it became.
