I used to think of waifuism as being complete suifuel as a 2D girl is of course not real. But I think that I was wrong to think of it as suifuel, it's actually lifefuel when I think about it. So what if she "doesn't exist"? She might as well be real to me. There was a post that said something like this on another forum, and I think that he did have a point. She will be more reliable than 3D foids (since 3D foids don't even care about me at all in a sexual/romantic context), and 2D girls are more attractive in my opinion. The Japanese have done a great job of perfecting this cope over the years. And I am Kazuma, for all intents and purposes (or that is another form of me to be more specific).

I do hope that @Zesto is having a good time with Hotaru Shidare. To be honest, it didn't seem like it was looking up for him with regards to ascension in Japan, so I hope that he can cope well.

Yeah, I agree. Everything I know about the world is based on my senses and the information induced from them. The 2D world is real. I can see it. It's right there in front of me. Though it may as well be an infinite distance away because I can't interact with it in a meaningful way.

Nah, by being ignored I meant she was given too little screen time. Out of 41(probably) chapters she appeared in only ten of them.

I think that some guests could potentially use cute young 2D girls as a means of comfort, whether or not it would be sexual. But I could imagine a scenario in which they would be predisposed to feel too guilty for it, since they're not 40 year old women so it's considered evil pedophilia.
