The mercenary was in the wrong, but just barely. Not because he's a mercenary, but because he had the jump on those soldiers and didn't need to kill them like he did. They didn't even react to somebody flanking their trench and they didn't react to fight back. You must disarm and ziptie them, which it looked like he was attempting to do when they refused to surrender before he jumped in. They're already out of the fight. They should be POWs. If they resist to try and fight back at that point, then you attack and kill them. The old man pulled his rifle back when the Russian merc went for it.
We don't know what Wagner command's orders were for this mission, so we don't have the complete picture. Mercenaries are not subject to the standard ROE of national soldiers, so they don't really need to capture POWs. Still, those two men didn't need to die.
So that the elites can continue filling up their pockets, same with the pandemic

This video legit made me rage. I fucking hate wars. One's a kid who looks like he barely passed puberty and should be with his friends having beers and playing video games or football. The other guy looks like someone's dad close to retirement and should be having beers and playing chess with his son. Neither of these two were soldiers. I would bet all of the money I made last year that at least one of those two were conscripts because of that kike Zelensky's order to not let anyone between the ages of 18-60 (or whatever the fuck it was) out of Ukraine.
The Wagner merc is a professional soldier (probably a veteran of several operations in Chechnya and elsewhere) who took the black pill on war and realized if he's going to fight it may as well be for big bucks instead of cucking himself for the pathetic, paltry salary enlisted soldiers get. I'm not seeing what you're seeing. When he jumped in the trench and reached for the old man's rifle there was no yellow wrist band. He was wearing a beige watch. It's not surprising if they are in fact using enemy flags and insignia to infiltrate enemy lines in small groups. That could be what happened here.
