I work in a machine shop (not as a machinist though) and don't recommend it. There's pictures of the old guys and they go from mtn, htn, even chadlite and turn into a bald, fat, dead-inside, guy with bad joints and a bad back after 30-40 years.
Fuck blue color. Boomers already piss me off enough. If some 70 year old toadbilly named “Elmer” gives me that soft hands shit he’s getting punched in the fucking throat.
Retail. Can't go into detail specifically what I do to avoid people picking up more information on me, but it's fairly physical to the point where I feel like I don't need to go to the gym.
I like my job, but in the grand scheme of things, it pays too low. I can afford an apartment, but after each month I'm pretty much piss broke. Can't afford to finance or buy another vehicle (even one that's 20+ years old, thanks Obama and illegals), but I also basically got forced in this position as my mom told me to kick rocks mid way through my education a few years ago (I basically got this job beforehand, and only to save up for a high end gaming computer and a truck while in college, so I was almost connived into this happening. Even looking back on it, this was extremely scummy for her to do), and my dad lives very far away so he had no say in the matter, unfortunately.
My college career is not doing too great. Probably going to drop out and just get a starting IT job to try to work my way up, hopefully. I'm only good with tech and I hate literally everything else which is why I'm not good at college. Why these retarded ZOG faggots require you to be well rounded in every subject, even ones that are pointless towards your intended line of work, is completely beyond me.

I'm a NEET atm and all that I've done is factory work. The 12 hour shifts are fucking brutal, it feels like slavery. Everyone in these jobs is miserable and they take their anger out on you.

Obama was a lot better at deporting the illegals than even Trump is, but that's not necessarily what I was referring to. He was behind the Cash 4 Clunkers program that removed a shit load of decent used cars on the road which tanked the amount of available used cars in the car market. And yes, we are still feeling the effects of it even today as the used car market is an absolute disaster right now. The big car corpos were 100% behind this as well.
The illegal problem has always been a thing, but moreso that was a Biden thing, as he and the foid border czar let more illegals in the country during their 4 year tenure than the amount who entered in the country in the past 15-20 years combined. Guess who is buying all the cheap 90s Camrys, GM work trucks and Corollas that wagies like me need? It is just another additive to the problem. Shouldn't have to pay $5,000 for a 1989 Chevrolet K2500 with 200k miles that was $500 15 years ago.
I know they don't, I hate them too and I am not a Republican, but Obama also let in a shit load of H1-Bs. The mass immigration problem is being stagnated by Republicans who aren't doing shit about it (hell, with some like Greg Abbott importing hundreds of thousands of third worlders anyways as it's easy profit for big corpos), but made worse by Dems, as everyone in the US's sphere is getting more radically progressive on the immigration problem and doesn't give a rat's ass about the actual citizens who were born and raised here.
In retrospect I would rather vote for a Republican, but we aren't gonna have any real solution until the last of the Boomers wither away from old age.

Cnc machinist I’m saving up to hopefully start my own business, but anyways I’ve seen some brutal stuff I work morning shift u share my machine with some old maybe 60 year old guy guy that works the night shift after I leave, there’s also some young Latinx dude who I assume is early 20s around my age his hairline is brutal his crown looks like a lollipop that fell in a barbershop.
Anyways my job isn’t too bad or hard it’s much better than my old job and management is chill and laid back since there’s no foid managers thank god
