My teachers were all woke as well. In grade 12 for English I handed in an assignment that was targeted against the position of DEI, I was taking out of class and asked to redo the assignment. For HSC I wrote another right-winged piece for the imaginative component. The markers failed me.
I have a similar story. In 12th grade we had a vocab quiz and one of the words was “vapid”. We were supposed to use the word in a sentence, and I wrote “Modern females are vapid”. My teacher, a male feminist, started screaming at me in front of the entire class.
