Brutal violent incident i remember from school

back when i was 9, 2 boys in my class, their names were James and Jordon, and were 9 and 10, got into an argument over something.
the teacher separated them both, and while they pulled James away, Jordon sat down at his desk, his back was turned from James.
James then picked up a chair and threw it right at the back of Jordon's head.
The impact of the chair left a smallish hole in the back of Jordon's head, he got escorted out the classroom by a teacher and was taken to the hospital.
While he was being escorted away, i moved up close behind him to get a better look at his head hole out of morbid curiosity.
I saw fluid leaking from that head hole.

he recovered and he still attended that school, james got expelled.
i'm not in contact with anyone from that school, i didn't have any friends there, and i didn't like jordon.

when i was 6 a kid got his skull cracked open at the eyebrow by a baseball bat and he ran around screaming
I don't think I saw it happen but the whole class went mental
i'm pretty sure they don't give kids metal bats anymore. He stood next to another kid while he swung it

Shocking experience tbh. I don't remember anything similar in school tbh.

chances are it is quite rare to be present when something like this happens. Noone died or got injured that badly in my entire time at high school. He would have definitely died if it was not a grazing blow. Even though it was a kid swinging it, full speed baseball bat to the forehead instead of just grazing would of been guaranteed brain damage or death
