One thing i enjoyed most about Vinland saga’s ending is that is shows thornfinn could've lived a way more successful life if he choose to fight off lnu and stuck to his original warrior ways, but still chose to take the pacifist route even though it meant him and his crew getting driven off of vinland, this probably seems obvious that this would be the case but a lesser author would probably have had the lnu be all buddy buddy and accepting of thorfinns gang right up till the end even though the lnus’ lives were threatened with a deadly illness carried over from norse, of course they would drive them off if the alternative was their entire race dying. I applaud Makoto Yukimura for having the balls to give Vinland saga a realistic toned down ending in the face of tiktok fags who regard anything thats not a perfect happy go lucky ending mid.
