so i just got home from a meeting with probation.
because the county council are dragging their feet on housing me, probation has decided that i should try to find a place to rent.
the monthly rent would be covered by housing benefits that i'm entitled to, as long as the rent is below £600.
I found 3 places for me, but i got declined by one of them for not meeting their criteria.
one landlord responded to my message asking him to view the flat towards the end of this month.
he told me i can visit to check the place out if its still available on that date, and i've not yet gotten a response by the other landlord.
weather or not if i go homeless depends on this other landlord when i move out on the 8th.
if i'm homeless on the 8th, the council will arrange for me to stay at a hotel for free for like 50 days until i get a response from the other landlord or i find another place.
any belongings of mine that i can't bring with me will be placed into storage for 3 months.
i won't be camping in the woods, kind of a shame because it sounds like quite an adventure.
i might go homeless soon...
