This is categorically false. While it's true that there is an almost instinctual tendency to compare your lot with that of your neighbour's, there is some baseline quality of life that is generally considered to be "good," with plenty of room for "great" and "amazing."
What that baseline is usually converges to a handful of things that are considered basics, as well as comforts, such as a well-paying, stable job, a house, a loving partner, and a healthy social circle. I'd argue that this certainly qualifies as a good life for well north of 95% of people.
Deep down, they know that this is their only value to others - beauty and fertility.
In a gynocentric society pointing out harsh truths about women is an express ticket to villainy. If you say the kind of shit about women that would result in you being castigated and potentially losing your career in the West in a place like Russia or China, nobody would bat an eye.

I think the problem with this view point is that it leads to people thinking fat and ugly women's problems are on the same level as ours when in reality they are on the level of problems mid-high tier normie males suffer. You’d honestly be surprised how little people can be happy on if they don’t have other people’s easier lives rubbed in their face as a point of comparison. I have visited Africa and rural South America and I was extremely surprised as to how much happier the people there were compared to where I live in the UK and they were living in corrugated iron huts.
