Unpopular Opinion: DLC's & Microtransactions aren't bad

If the company that has them in their games is based & anti leftist. It makes sense to support them financially even more. If it's some shitty company like EA or Ubisoft however they can fuck off. I rather spend 100 euro supporting some based anti leftist company than waste it on some triple A slop games with DEI & ugly femoid characters & diversity + LGBT.

Dlc can be good and bad, I still like hearts of stone and blood and wine in the Witcher 3.

I'm actually alright with dlc and micro transactions too. What really sealed the deal for me was Tekken 8. Every Tekken fan has just been shitting on the game specifically because of the micro transactions they added, but the creator harada says that he wants Tekken 8 to last for a decade. It would be cool to continue having New items drop as dlc so I can keep looking forward for something in the game during that decade

Microtransactions are also disgusting, since you’re basically paying extra money to cut corners and NOT play the game you just bought. They’re understable for free-to-play shit since that’s the only way they can earn money, though in my opinion, that should also be purely cosmetics.

DLCs if done right, are great sources of extra content, microtransactions? no problem if its like for cosmetics.

Fair enough, but Game Science only emerged recently (and it probably won’t be long for them to fall in line with the rest), and both that and Shift Up, and also Grasshopper are all Eastern developers (which so is warhorse, but I guess that proves the point: there are no non-leftist western game companies, and it’s mostly them that implement microtransactions, especially in single-player campaigns, unless we’re counting mobile games, which suddenly makes China a huge issue, yes).

Notice how all of them are mostly skeleton crews, btw.

If editors are like "the base game is finished, but we add some dlc as bonus content", then it's okay
If they're like "lol the game isn't finished at all, you'll have to buy every dlc to get the game as it should have been day one", then it's shit

Sadly it's very often, if not exclusively, the latter.

If dlcs are like old expansions which give you a lot of content (new location, new stuff to unlock, new enemy types, if game has a story then introduce new story with new characters) then they are worth it but if they are cut day0 dlc content like in usual crapcom games then it's a scam, also $60-70 games shouldn't have a paid skins especially if they are a single player games it's just dumb.

I just hope STALKER deosnt face any of that shit. I wont juge if they talk about the shit between Russia and Ukraine considering that games made by Ukrainians. But hope the SJWs dont touch it.

their model is to maximize the advantages which whales can get from spending, and not on the actual gameplay being complex, difficult, balanced or requiring skill

in fact, it tends to be inimical to balance or complexity, because ultimately they are trying to create an imbalanced game which is rigged towards some players regardless of skill or knowledge

Ill say this, when I played dishonered, I had way more fun with the 2 DLCs were you played as Daud then when you play the base game as Corvo, the chad protector.
