Discussion unpopular opinion: a lot of the lingo used here is stupid and obnoxious

stuff like "JFL" is fine and harmless, it basically just means "lol" and it adds some character to the site. but terms like "cope" have been molested and lost all meaning. some people just reply "cope" to literally anything that they disagree with regardless of how little sense it makes, even in contexts where it genuinely can not be applied whatsoever
