I learned how to fight in school. That when I joined an MMA gym, the sensei accused me of having had previous training before. Because he had to resort to a triangle choke to beat me.

High level fighters when they spar a white belt or lower level fighter tend to intentionally nerf themselves to make it a "learning experience". For example, they be like "I'm only gonna use rear naked choke to submit him. No armbars, triangles, etc..." He had to break his own rule...

i went to school, was bullied throughout, and still didn't know what to do when i was bullied at work as an adult. i was bullied by my boss so i thought he might retaliate if i said something about it and i didn't want to lose my job or get on his bad side. it caused me a lot of anxiety problems and insomnia.
