What makes it difficult to stop Russia's push into Europe is that China is backing them. China has essentially unlimited money and manufacturing and China has technology that is competitive with the West.

By standing armies currently..

Russia: 1,500,000
Ukraine: 800,000
Poland: something like 250,000
Germany: 225,000
France: 225,000


The big fear is if Russia gets all of Ukraine they will add the Ukrainian army to the Russian army. At some point Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Hungary, Slovakia and possibly more would flip fully to the Russian side. As they are either Orthodox and/or friends with Russia. Small countries in the Balkans and the Baltic including Finland would not be able to hold out against Russia + Ukraine's armies. Finland could potentially go neutral in that case and make a deal with Russia.

I view that the war is going to last 30+ years. I don't think the Ukraine army is going to collapse this year or next year. But they are beginning to be gradually overwhelmed and when you lose territory its a problem. Because you lose population and industrial production. Granted Ukraine can keep falling back and keep building more fortifications further back for a long time to come.

The other problem when you are being overwhelmed is the opponent attacks only in places where his advantage is strongest.

If the elites point the Slav armies in one direction or another the masses of Slavs will eagerly follow orders. Today the Ukraine army can be attacking Russians. Tomorrow it can be attacking into Europe alongside Russians.

Last polls I saw for Poland was like 2 years ago and I think it was 40-45% of Polish were supporting Russia in the war and 55-60% supporting Ukraine in the war.

I think Poland could go into a long civil war with Russia backing the nationalists, and the EU backing the pro-EU side.
