Being ugly and being unattractive are not the same thing. It's like comparing Stephen Merchant (objectively ugly) to Freddie Mercury (objectively unattractive). Both would most likely be incel without their fame and success, but you can definitely see who's better looking than who.

If an ugly guy walked into a nightclub, he'd get the same reaction as a Chad gets, but in a negative way (double take). If the ugly guy approached some foids, they would give him disgusted looks and give him "fuck off" signals.

If an unattractive guy walked into a nightclub, he would be invisible to foids as there isn't anything "shocking" or "repulsive" about his looks, at least not extremely. They wouldn't double take or anything. If he approached them, they'd be a little bit nicer (just a little) and have a conversation with him like you would when talking to a McDonald's cashier.

Ultimately it's over for both ugly and unattractive men, but despite what it shows on your thesaurus, ugly does NOT equal unattractive. Unattractive men will also experience "fuck off" signals, but it won't be as common as ugly men experience. This is possibly because most people men and women alike are considered average looking by definition, ranging from unattractive to decent looking.

To foids, unattractive guys are considered as potential orbiters, whilst ugly guys are considered as "rapists", "murderers" or "monsters". Ugly guys are always seen as a threat, not so much with unattractive guys.

What you're describing as "unattractive" is 100% a social category based off cultural trends, Freddie's only flaw here are his jacked up teeth, otherwise he had the bone structure of the Gods, was high-test looking and naturally athletic. There is nothing about him that signals "bad reproductive health" in any evolutionary sense. Good bone structure is good, but not at the cost of facial harmony. He lacked the facial harmony to be considered average looking, let alone good looking, and his maxillary prognathism and jacked up teeth outweighed his positive features. Compared to an e-boy, he'd be lucky if a foid settled for him. E-boy has youth and facial harmony from his ratios and bone structure, which Mercury lacks.
